A graceful evergreen shrub, the leathery tapered leaves of this plant shine with a bronzy green color that transforms into purple, red, bronze, and burgundy shades in autumn. The bundles of stems gently reach out to create a bushy effect and are weighed down further by dangling racemes of tiny bell-like white flowers late April through June. A terrific accent plant that is also deer resistant.
